TitanServ is a fast-growing business with ambitious plans, so we’re delighted to welcome Rhys Cridland on board as our new business development manager.
Rhys joins us after a long and varied career in retail, sales and management, which has seen him work for some of the UK’s biggest high street brands, including the Arcadia Group and Jessops.
We’ve given him the brief of growing the B2B side of our business by helping to forge relationships with both existing and potential clients to seek further growth opportunities.
About Rhys
Rhys is a busy family man, with three children and another on the way. One of his main passions in life is photography, which he was able to combine with his working life while at Jessops, where he worked for almost 12 years, working his way up to the role of flagship store manager.
He met our MD, Matt Davies, a year ago through a mutual friend in the Welsh Chapter of Bearded Villains, a global brotherhood of elite bearded men dedicated to the betterment of humanity through friendship, charity and kindness. The group aims to unite bearded men of all cultures, races and sexuality through loyalty, honour and respect toward all people.
Once Rhys told us about his background and experience in retail and sales, we moved quickly to offer him the new role of BDM.
Speaking about his appointment, Rhys said: “I’m delighted to join the team here at TitanServ and look forward to bringing the skills and experience I have gained during my career in sales and retail to help drive the business forward.
“I’ve got a good understanding about how security fits into business, particularly on the high street, so I’m excited about applying what I’ve learned to our offering here at TitanServ, to help grow the B2B side of the business.”
Rhys is the latest addition to TitanServ’s six-strong management team. He brings our total headcount to 60 members of facilities management staff, who work in a variety of full-time and part-time roles across our industrial security and commercial cleaning divisions.
‘Ambitious plans’
Matt Davies said: “Rhys is a welcome addition to the team, and it’s great to have him on board.
“We have ambitious plans to grow the business, and he will be a vital part of that moving forwards as he works with clients and contacts to win new work, strengthen our relationships, identify more tender opportunities and, ultimately, bring more revenue into the business.
“He’s already had a big impact on the business, helping to redesign our sales process and create many of the standard letters and documentation we use, as well as starting to build our email distribution list and implement a CRM system which will help us to achieve our goals.
“More importantly, though, he is a good fit with the team. He’s a family man who does a lot of work for charity and has already become a key member of staff.”
