What is Helios?

Helios is a bespoke, innovative and simple to use workforce management tool that makes it easy to plan, share and assign staff rotas, documentation and other important information.

The smartphone app is available on both Apple and Android. It makes it easier to manage workforces across multiple sites, locations and rotas while providing complete visibility to clients. 

It’s GDPR-compliant and provides us with a secure platform to document and keep track of client requirements and ensure our staff carry them out.

It can be customised to suit any size or type of business and provides 100% visibility of staff movements and activity. So, you can be sure that when you pay for a service, it is being carried out to the letter. 

Helios can also be integrated with a host of software platforms and business management tools, including Sage and Xero, to automate time-consuming manual processes.

It includes a customer dashboard giving clients access to all the information they need about the security guards or cleaning operatives we deploy to their sites, for complete transparency.

How does Helios increase accountability and transparency?

Helios has several key features that help us improve accountability and transparency and give our customers peace of mind. 

It enables our managers and our clients to organise the staff we have deployed, check-in on their whereabouts and wellbeing, and communicate rota changes, shift information and other important issues quickly and effectively. 

It has a dedicated customer dashboard that clients can log into to get all the information about which staff have been assigned to their business, their rotas and any other important information. 

Helios automatically tracks shifts that need to be allocated, which makes it easier to identify what work is upcoming and what resources you will need. Clients can also upload any important documentation to the app for the guards to read, such as company procedures or policies, incident logs or reports, or worklists. 

It has an automated check-in/out function, so whenever a guard or cleaner starts or ends their shift, it is logged in Helios to ensure that rotas are being adhered to and we are billing out only for hours worked. 

This can also give us early warning of any potential security incidents, staff safety issues or other problems, as we can monitor staff movements and respond quickly if anything is amiss.

Helios is also excellent for accurate timekeeping, ensuring that workers are on-site, on time and doing what they are supposed to. It has in-built real-time GPS tracking, so we can keep track of everyone’s movements and ensure they are where they need to be – and where they say they are – during their shift. 

The app makes it easier to evaluate staff movements and behaviour, so you can identify and manage poor performance where required.
